Web 2.0 Site Designed for Inventors

Hello to everyone in the inventing world. A year ago I attended a casting call for a new reality show called "Everyday Edison", by PBS' a show similar to ABC's "American Inventor". Everyday Edison picks 12 inventors out of thousands and film the whole process of inventing from conception to marketplace. Unfortunately I did not qualify, because the invention I showed them was something I came up with 2 hours prior to my presentation. It was really exciting, except for the hours of waiting in line.

It was fun to see other innovator's inventions, no matter how simple or complex they were. It was specially exciting for me because I couldn't show my other invention, and had to come up with something innovative within two hours. I was coming up with different concepts and creating designs it was fun for me. It was also exciting because I got to meet like minded people. The lady in front of me already had a patent, and the guy behind me in line owned a large construction company. Another guy I met inside the facility was a very young resident doctor with a background in engineering.

They are doing a sequal and you can bet I will be there prepared. It will be held in Chicago, Illionis Saturday April 29, 2008.

Wish me luck!

Anyways, the same company who sponsored the show built a new web 2.0 site for inventors to network with and help each other improve their inventions. It is called Edison Nation.com check it out it is "free" with an option to upgrade.

Take Care!
